MISSION STATEMENT

The Central New York Wrestling Officials Association (CNYWOA), also know as the Utica Board, is comprised of members that serve the wrestling needs of schools in the greater Mohawk Valley. The CNYWOA serves Section III schools as far east as Dolgeville/Little Falls, as far north as Adirondack Central, as far west as Oneida, and as far south as Cooperstown/Madison.

The purpose of the CNYWOA is to maintain a uniform standard of qualfications for wrestling officials in order to maintain a high standard of officiating; and to promote sportsmanship and integrity of officials, coaches and participants in the sport of wrestling within the area served; to provide an organized means of training and guidance to those now officiating and those who wish to officiate.
